Apollo reviewed The City and Its Uncertain Walls by Haruki Murakami
A Richer Retelling
4.0 stars
This novel retells a story Murakami explored first as a short story and not long after as one of his early novels. This is a more mature and more meaningful telling of the story with his typical magical realism in fine form packing in bizarre and tender elements.
